BTS’s title track ‘SWIM’ has topped the Billboard Global (excluding U.S.) chart for the fourth week in a row, marking its eighth cumulative No. 1 on the ranking. The achievement ties the record for the longest-running No. 1 on that chart, a milestone previously held by the group’s 2020 megahit ‘Dynamite’. On the broader Global 200 chart, ‘SWIM’ rose six spots to No. 4, while on the Hot 100 it jumped 11 positions to No. 44, extending its chart run to ten weeks.
The feat comes after BTS released their fifth full album ‘ARIRANG’ in March 2026 following a military hiatus. The album has been a sustained commercial force, with all 13 tracks charting for ten consecutive weeks. The album itself remained in the Billboard 200 top 10 for ten straight weeks, landing at No. 9 on the latest chart. Alongside the title track, other songs from the album such as ‘Body to Body’, ‘Hooligan’, and ‘2.0’ have also drawn strong listener response.
This latest record extends BTS’s dominance on the Global (excluding U.S.) chart, where they now boast eight No. 1 songs — twice as many as Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift, who each have four. The sustained chart performance of both ‘SWIM’ and the full ‘ARIRANG’ album, including a rebound on the Vinyl Albums chart, underscores the group’s ability to maintain massive global traction even after a temporary hiatus.
