BTS kicked off their 13th debut anniversary celebration on Thursday, June 4, by releasing a new family photo on Instagram. The photo, posted on the morning of June 4 in Korea, shows all seven members—RM, Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, and V—dressed in business casual attire and spending time together on a grassy lawn under sunlight. BTS had previously announced that this photo would signal the start of this year's Festa, an annual event series commemorating their debut day.
The 2026 Festa is especially meaningful as it marks BTS's first debut anniversary event since releasing their Billboard 200 No. 1 album "ARIRANG" and embarking on a global tour earlier this year. This year's Festa is titled "13(B)TS," which the agency explained signifies a starting point to move forward together to the next chapter, adding BTS and ARMY's own new "1" to the journey of the past 12 years. The festival runs for approximately two weeks both online and offline around the debut date of June 13.
Fans can look forward to a packed schedule of content leading up to the anniversary concerts in Busan on June 12 and 13. The family photo drop was just the beginning, with a performance video, self-produced content, and a previously vinyl-only track all scheduled for release. This year's celebration carries extra weight as it is BTS's first debut anniversary as a complete group after completing military service, and includes their first Busan concert in over three years at the same venue where they held their last show before enlistment.
