On June 5, the Seoul Central District Court held the second hearing in ADOR’s lawsuit seeking confirmation of exclusive contracts with NewJeans members.
While ADOR expressed a desire for settlement, NewJeans’ legal representative stated, “Trust is completely broken. We’ll consult again, but a settlement seems unlikely.”
The court encouraged both sides to reconcile, calling the situation “regretful.”
ADOR’s attorney responded, “Whether through the main case or the injunction, once the court rules, we believe settlement will be easier,” and requested a swift judgment.
The lawsuit remains ongoing as the conflict between ADOR and NewJeans continues.
