The seven-member rookie group NAZE officially entered the Japanese music market with their debut showcase, "THIS IS NAZE." Held on June 19 at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo, the two-part event served as the group's first major live performance for local fans.
The group, consisting of Kaisei, Yoongi, Ato, Teon, Yuya, Geon Kim, and Dohyuk, performed a tracklist bridging their fictional roles as trainees with their real-life debut. This milestone marks the transition of NAZE from television characters in the TBS drama "DREAM STAGE" to a K-pop entity. The successful showcase establishes a foundation for their upcoming promotional schedule across Japanese media.
Congratulatory voice messages were revealed at the scene from Japanese actors Tomoya Nakamura, Elaiza Ikeda, and Yoji Iwase, who worked together with them on the drama. It added meaning as the members, who played K-pop trainees in the show, showed themselves achieving their dream of debuting in reality. — Nate
